Role Overview
As the first Partner Manager in APAC, you will own the regional partner strategy end-to-end - from identifying and recruiting partners such as system integrators and consulting firms, to enabling them and co-selling to drive revenue. You'll operate with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating closely with global Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the APAC partner strategy, including target markets, partner profiles, and recruitment and revenue goals
- Identify, qualify, and onboard new partners with the right knowledge, tools, and resources
- Act as the main point of contact for partners, providing training, product enablement, and co-selling support
- Work closely with partners on joint sales opportunities from lead generation through deal closure and deal registration
- Run regular business reviews and track partner performance against shared goals
- Optimize plans continuously to maximize regional growth
Requirements
- Deep understanding of the APAC technology market, including cultural and business nuances across key countries
- Strong background in partner management, channel sales, or related roles within a software company
- Proven ability to build revenue-generating partner ecosystems
- Experience developing regional strategy and executing it independently
- Data-driven mindset with ability to prioritize efforts and set goals based on market insights
- Clear communicator across time zones with strong collaboration skills
- Nice to have: familiarity with data analytics or data science; additional languages such as Japanese or Mandarin
